Typical buyers are converters making shrink film for collation or product wrap. The RFQ should say whether the film is later printed, folded or used as plain wrap, because winding hardness and treatment change. Upstream resin handling and downstream conversion are interfaces, not automatic inclusions.

Confirm hall height versus tower, crane access for die changes, footprint for hoppers and winders, and whether the shrink film blowing machine is a stand-alone unit or must handshake with a bag maker. Single machine versus integrated line is an industry trade-off: an integrated quote needs interface owners; a stand-alone quote needs explicit exclusions. Cooling water temperature and flow, compressed air demand and three-phase supply must be written as plant data, not assumed from a brochure.
Price exclusions
Chillers, extra dies for width changes, corona, automatic gauge control, oscillating haul-off and installation often sit outside a base price. If shrink film and heavier packaging film share the tower, extra screws or dies should be line items. Do not treat a machine price as installed project cost.
Response basis
Ask whether ABA construction is sufficient for the required barrier or shrink performance, or whether a dedicated barrier layer and a defined shrink test are needed. Request thickness variation and winding defect methods on rolls from the start and end of a run. Output at the required width is limited by cooling and haul-off, not only by screw diameter.

Representative samples: send target shrink film, core size and roll diameter. Nominal speed without test conditions is not validated output. FAT or SAT should use the buyer’s structure where possible.
