Film Blowing Machine Sourcing

This page states buyer responsibilities when requesting factory quotes. Film Blowing Machine Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. We collect film structure, width, utilities and destination, then ask manufacturers to confirm feasibility. We do not own a blown-film plant and we do not sell as a brand-appointed reseller.

Buyer responsibilities

The buyer owns the film specification, the plant interfaces and the acceptance decision. The coordinator organizes comparable questions. The supplier confirms what the quoted film blowing machine will actually run.
  1. Buyer responsibilities: Equipment scope

Provide layflat width, layer count, resin types and layer ratios for each trial roll, thickness window, and whether ABA skins must carry different polymers from the core. Name winding method, roll diameter, treatment and any gusset. If the line must also run shrink film or monolayer PE, list those structures separately so bidders do not hide extra dies. Work envelope and footprint around the tower belong in this brief, along with cooling water and compressed air demand.

  2. Price exclusions

Do not assume hoppers, chillers, extra screws, IBC, oscillating haul-off, automatic gauge control, corona, or installation are inside a base machine price. Ask which spare parts ship with the crate. Certification documents, if required for the destination, are requested from the named factory; they are not this website’s credentials.

  3. Response basis

Ask factories to quote against the same trial-roll definition and to state cooling and haul-off limits at the required width. Thickness variation and winding defects should be measured on start-of-run and end-of-run rolls. Nominal bubble stability is not a saleable-roll record. Duty cycle and changeover time should be described as methods, not as promised minutes.

Remaining buyer input: quantity, destination, delivery window, available three-phase supply, connected load limit, PLC interface if the plant already has one, and optional budget with currency and per-unit or whole-order basis.
